A collapsible security grille with a plurality of pairs of elongate channel members 1 interconnected by lattice members 13 carried by connectors 10 mounted in the channel members, wherein some of the connectors are slidably mounted in the channel members and some are fixed at pre-determined positions therealong. Each channel member 1 comprises opposed inwardly directed flanges 1a at the mouth of the channel and the fixed connectors comprise screw-operated jaws 15, 16 to clamp the flanges 1a, thereby fixing the connectors in position along the channel members. The connector 10 may have a connecting pin 11 with a head 11a engageable with a first slide body 12 and a screw threaded portion 11d which passes through a clamping member 15 and a second slide body 16 and engages with a nut 17 to draw the second slide body 16 into contact with the clamping member 15. |
