Spindles 10, 11, 12, 13 of four rotary plug cocks are rotatably mounted in a body 9 and are driven from a central drive-shaft 14 by an arrangement of linkwork comprising a driving member 16 secured to shaft 14 and carrying drive pins 22, 23 which are adapted to engage slots 30 in members 25, 26, 27, 28 secured to the spindles 10, 11, 12 and 13, the arrangement being such that for one direction of rotation, from the position shown in Fig. 1, members 24, 26 are rotated through 90 degrees, members 25, 27 being locked, Fig. 3, and for the other direction of rotation members 25, 27 are rotated through 90 degrees, members 24, 26 being locked. A locking plate 17 is integral with driving member 16, and a control handle 15 is secured to drive-shaft 14.</p> |
