<p>1301044 Slicing machines W KRAUT [trading as BIZERBA-WERKE WILHELM KRAUT K G] 30 Oct 1970 [13 Dec 1969] 51617/70 Heading A4C A slicing machine has a feed carriage 8 reciprocated relative to a circular rotary knife and carrying a clamp 9 which is driven transverse to the feed carriage reciprocation axis to feed material to the knife, the clamp 9 comprising a holder 38 on a lever 37 which is pivotable relative to a base 29, there being a segmental ring 57 which has its centre of curvature coincident with the rotational axis of lever 37 and a clamping plate (55), Fig. 6 (not shown), displaceably mounted on lever 37 and having a slot (56) through which ring 57 passes, the lever 37 being pivotable in a vertical plane and selectively lockable in a given position by frictional engagement between ring 57 and the walls of slot (56). The plate (55) is articulated to a lever (63) on lever 37, movement of lever (63) releasing plate (55) from ring 57 to allow adjustment of the clamp 9. The holder 38 has end-piece gripper hooks 43 which are mounted on four shafts inter-connected by gears 44 so that all may be rotated together by a lever 45 to project or retract the hooks through apertures 46 in a housing 39.</p> |
