<p>Auto-scouring brazing rods and wires are prepd. by roasting a particulate alloy mixture, compression scouring it at 1,000 degrees C or cold and the operations taking place either simultaneously, successively or in several cycles, and are completed by a finishing operation. The alloy may be binary or comprise several metals and may contain non-metallic elements esp. P, all in a particulate state and the scouring agent is esp. borax.</p> |
