SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING VOD SERVICE OF POSSIBLE WATCHING WITHOUT DELAY

A promptly watchable VOD providing service system without buffering and a service method thereof are provided to download VOD contents through prereservation and select the downloaded VOD contents, thereby enabling a user to watch the contents without buffering. If contents a user wants to watch are selected(a), a buffering waiting time while downloading data of an initial amount is generated(b). After that, if the data of the initial amount is downloaded, the selected contents are promptly reproduced(c). If continuous reproduction of contents is performed, the user needs to wait until reproduction is started because buffering waiting time is necessary before reproducing previous contents and next contents.
