A liquid crystal display panel and a method for inspecting the same are provided to improve the production yield by deciding failure in early stage and removing the failure factor. An illuminating unit(162) supplies light to a substrate. A photographing unit takes a picture of a foreign matter or the TFT pattern. A mask image part(168) stores mask image data. A combiner(170) synthesizes the mask image from the thin film pattern from the photographing unit or the foreign matter image and mask image. A monitor indicates the image synthesized with combiner. |
