A group 13 nitride phosphor has excellent dispersibility among the solid matrixs and shows high luminous intensity and excellent reliability. A group 13 nitride phosphor(10) is made of group 13 nitride microcrystal(11). The diamine compound is combined on the surface of a group 13 nitride microcrystal and the silica gel solid layer. A manufacturing method of group 13 nitride phosphor comprises a step for mixing a diamine compound, a group 13 element-containing compound and a nitrogen element-containing compound or mixing a diamine compound and a group 13 element-containing compound to obtain the mixed solution; a step for manufacturing a group 13 nitride microcrystal combined in the diamine compound by heating the mixed solution; and a step for dispersing a group 13 nitride microcrystal in the matrix of the silica gel solid layer.
