A selective hydrolysis method is provided to hydrolyze selectively a asymmetric structure of diester compound using an organism catalytic enzyme, produce the diester compound having excellent purity and yield and to mass-produce lercanidipine drug. A manufacturing method of 1,4- dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-5-methoxycarbonyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl) pyridine-3-carboxylic acid comprises a step of hydrolyzing selectively a methyl pivaloyloxymethyl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl) pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate indicated by a chemical formula 2 by using a Lipase-TL: Pseudomonas stutzeri enzyme. The 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-5-methoxycarbonyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl) pyridine-3-carboxylic acid is indicated by a chemical formula 1. The solvent used for reacting the selective hydrolysis is a mixed solvent of water(H2O) and a dialkyl ether organic solvent having a carbon number 2-8. |
