A reducer and a method for using the reducer are provided to prevent the oil leak and elevation of the internal pressure. The reducer(100) accommodates the lubricant inside during the driving and in which the inside and outside are shut tightly. The connection part(170) is set up in order to connect and circulates the inside and outside of reducer. The connection between the inside and the outside of reducer is shielded by the shielding member which includes the oil-repellent, the breathability, and the gasoline ratio penetrability. The contact and contactless of lubricant are repeated about the shielding member by changing the posture of reducer during the operation.
