ACTIVE MATRIX ORGANIC LIGHT-EMITTING DISPLAYS HAVING ORGANIC THIN FILM TRANSISTORS AND METHOD OF THE SAME

The active type organic electro light emitting display device and a method of manufacture the same are provided to achieve a new structure for integrating OTFT and OLED. A step is for forming source electrode(110) of OTFT and the drain electrode(112) of OTFT used with the first electrode of OLED. A step is for forming the organic thin film layer(120) on the substrate to cover the source and drain electrode of OTFT. A step is for successively forming the dielectric layer and conductive layer on the organic thin film layer. A step is for patterning the conductive layer and dielectric layer by using the predetermined pattern. A step is for forming the dielectric layer formed at one side of the contact hole and the conductive layer as the gate dielectric layer(130) and gate electrode(140) of OTFT by forming the contact hole through etching of the conductive layer and dielectric layer to expose the organic thin film layer. A step is for forming the dielectric layer formed to the other side of the contact hole and conductive layer as the electron injection layer(132) of OLED and the second electrode(142).
