A METHOD, AN INTERFACE BOARD AND A ROUTER FOR TRANSMITTING THE MESSAGE

A method for transmitting the message, an interface board and a router for realizing the method improve the speed of the router to process the message. The method for transmitting the message is that: the interface board receives a state change message of the multicast group transmitted by the first host; the interface board transmits a query message to the second host; if not receiving the multicast group state message which is feedback by the second host during the determined period, the interface board updates the state of the multicast group according to the state change message of the multicast group and transmits a preset number of the state change message of the multicast group to the main control board. The speed of the router to process the message transmitted by the host in the network is efficiently increased.
