COMPOSITE MATERIAL, PRODUCTION METHOD, DEGRADATION METHOD AND DEVICE

The invention relates to the chemical, petrochemical and petroleum-refining industry. The inventive composite material is produced in the form of tightly sealed capsules which are filled with a bismuth-, lead-, stannum- and cadmium-based alloy. The inventive method consists in preliminary producing the alloy of the above-mentioned metals, in subsequently filling the capsules therewith and in tightly sealing said capsules. The thus obtained capsules are used in the form of activating structure for degradating substances or in the form of a packing for column reactors. The degradation device is provided with a screen for placing the capsules, a gas feeding pipe located below the screen level and a heater for heating from 47 to 400°C. The capsules can be arranged in the form of movable or fixed bed and the device can be rotatable. The column reactor comprises input and output branch pipes, distribution elements which can be grouped into sections and a window made therebetween, for example from glass and a light source.
