<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in performing the remote operation of electronic equipment while the image of the movement of a user is overlapped with a menu on a display, it is hard to perform the operation when the size and position of a user image on an operation menu is not the optimal, and the operation becomes complicate when the size and position of the user image are corrected. <P>SOLUTION: A detection part 13 divides the display area of the display screen of a display device 21 into total 144 pieces of detection areas comprising 9 pieces in the vertical direction and 16 pieces in the horizontal direction, and detects the image of the movement of the hand of the user image for every divided detection area. A control information determination unit (CPU) 20 sets the image size of the user image based on a mirror image conversion image signal to be output from a scaler 15 as a predetermined size based on the maximum width of the detection signal from the detection part 13, and calculates the center of gravity coordinates of the detection signal, and controls a scaler 15 so that the center of gravity coordinates can be set at the central position of the image for operation generated by a graphics generator 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
