PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk object sorter and an authenticity determination method, capable of accurately determining the authenticity of a disk object, having a correlation with a pattern of an outer circumferential side face and marking patterns on a surface and the reverse face. SOLUTION: This disk object sorter 10 is provided with an irregular pattern detecting means 3 for detecting irregular pattern in the outer circumferential side face of the disk object, as an irregular pattern data, a marking detecting means 2 for detecting a marking on the surface or the reverse face of the disk object, as a marking data; a memory 5 for storing preliminarily the marking on the surface or the reverse face corresponding to a feature point of the prescribed irregular pattern; and an authenticity determination means 6 for determining the propriety of having the positional correlation with the irregular pattern and the marking in the disk object, by collating the marking detected by the marking detecting means 2, when the irregular pattern detecting means 3 detects the feature point of the prescribed irregular pattern, with the marking data stored in the memory 5, and for thereby determining the genuineness of the disk object.
