PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for a lead device, capable of smoothly rotating a reel swelled by winding a wet lead. SOLUTION: A casing for a lead device, housing a shaft and a reel rotatable around the shaft and for winding a lead is provided, wherein the internal circumference edge part of the reel is fitted into a circular clearance formed around a small diameter part of the shaft.
