<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of a screen in a plurality of prescribed directions in addition to a front direction related to the screen, and to drastically improve the brightness in the prescribed directions by suppressing the leakage of light except in the prescribed directions, regarding an optical member, a back light unit and a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical member includes: a lenticular lens member 3 arranged in parallel to the surface side of a surface light source, and having a plurality of convex lens parts 2 formed side by side on the surface thereof; and a light reflection layer part 5 arranged on the rear side of the lenticular lens member 3. The light reflecting layer part 5 is provided with optical windows 6 constituting an imaging optical system, for transmitting the light emitted from the surface light source therethrough and condensing the light by respective convex lens parts 2 adjacent to each other while making the surface light source as a focal position. The optical window 6 is opened so that the center axis 6a thereof is deviated from the apex part 2a of the convex lens part 2 and the center axis 6a is arranged between the apexes 2a of the convex lens part 2 adjacent to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
