METHOD OF PRINTING LABEL DATA BASED ON ORDER DATA, PRINTER, AND ORDER ENTRY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for controlling an intelligent label printer.

SOLUTION: The method and system for intelligently printing a label based on order data are provided. A method example includes a step of receiving order data with a laser printer. A receipt printer is communicably connected to a POS terminal that is structured to receive or generate order data from an input by an operator. Next, the order data is transmitted to a label printer which processes the order data to generate label data correponding to the order data. The label printer generates the label data with reference to a plurality of predefined templates. Besides the label data or part of it, the label printer further generates customer data based on the order data.
