PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of reducing size and weight of a motor by reducing the torque demanded for the motor assisting steering. SOLUTION: When vehicle speed V is below a speed threshold value V<SB>0</SB>and steering torque T is above a torque threshold value T<SB>0</SB>, a suspension ECU 50 controls suspension strokes in both of suspension devices 33a, 33b of an active suspension 30 to elongate or shorten them in accordance with the predetermined frequencies to vibrate steering wheels FR, FL in the vertical direction for a road surface R at the predetermined frequencies.
