PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fluctuation in equivalent serial resistances among products in the multilayer electronic components such as a three-terminal type multilayer ceramic capacitor including composite resistance elements by forming resistance material film at a terminal electrode. SOLUTION: On the occasion of forming a resistance material film 31 on a side surface 15 of the component body 12 using a resistance material paste and also forming an external conductor film 32 covering the resistance material film 31, thickness B of the resistance material film 31 is set smaller than the minimum interval A between a contour of the resistance material film 31 and a contour of a conductor region 30 given by aggregation of leadout portion 26 of an internal electrode 24.
