PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to definitely set the position of a paper clamping part of a paper sheet reserving-providing means by adjusting only the paper sheet reserving-providing means side, and also to save labor for adaptation and adjustment on the occasion when the paper sheet reserving-providing means and a binding means are combined with each other. SOLUTION: In the case of preparing a booklet by fitting binding components in holes bored at the respective prescribed positions of a plurality of paper sheets, a lifting part 415 of a binding mechanism 41 raises a clamping-moving mechanism 80 of a binder paper sheet lining-up unit 30 and sets it at the upper position stipulating part 30g of this unit 30, when the paper sheets 3" in a plurality are clamped by the clamping-moving mechanism 80. In this embodiment, the connecting rod 803 of the clamping-moving mechanism 80 is brought into contact with the projecting part 30p of the upper position stipulating part 30g.
