<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor performing useful and efficient red eye correction processing, when there is opportunity to perform the red eye correction processing a plurality of times for a single image. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 104 of a printer 1 reads an Exif (exchangeable image file format) tag from a taken-in image file of an Exif (step 1201). If face detection and red-eye detection have already been executed in an imaging device 2, as the result of reference to information recorded in the taken-in Exif tag (steps S1202-1204), the control part 104 will not perform the face detection or the red eye detection. When face detection has yet to be executed in the imaging device 2, the control part 104 performs the face detection and the red-eye detection (Steps S1205-1206).
