PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide generating equipment that utilizes the radiant heat of the sun as one of new energy sources other than fossil fuel and does not cause pollution, considering the current situation in which the problem of global warming has become more serious. SOLUTION: The generating equipment is so structured that the following is implemented: a member for absorbing the radiant heat of the sun and storing the heat and a heat insulating material for preventing the escape of the stored heat, provided around the member, are disposed on an upper plate; a lower plate is provided with a heat conduction pipe that lets the heat of the lower plate out to the underground or the underwater or transmits the low temperature of the underground or the underwater to the lower plate to lower the temperature of the lower plate; and a Peltier element is sandwiched between the upper plate and the lower plate.
