<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device, of a solid containing a noxious substance such as organic halogen, which can treat by decomposition the noxious substance such as organic halogen compound contained in an exhaust gas generated in an enclosure by the heating of a microwave. <P>SOLUTION: This treatment device 1 of the solid containing the noxious substance such as organic halogen compound is provided with: the enclosure 30, into which the solid containing the noxious substance such as organic halogen compound, is introduced; and a microwave irradiation mechanism 31 which irradiates the solid containing the noxious substance introduced into the enclosure 30 with microwaves.
