PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check errors in an uploaded module without varying a program in a programmable logic controller to which the module is uploaded for updating the program. SOLUTION: The PLC1 is provided with: a program storing part 15 for storing the program 5 composed of a plurality of modules; an update data storing part 12 for storing the module modA uploaded from a program creation support device 2; an error checking part 13 for checking errors regarding the module modA; and a program varying part 14 for writing the module modA to the program storing part 15.
