A position-sensorless control circuit that controls a motor in such a way as to reduce the axis deviation angle between the d-axis and the ³-axis, assuming that the d-axis is an axis parallel to the magnetic flux produced by the permanent magnet used as a rotor, that the ³-axis is an axis inferred for the purpose of control as corresponding to the d-axis, and that the ´-axis is an axis inferred as 90 electrical degrees leading ahead of the ³-axis, has a ´-axis magnetic flux inferrer that infers, based on the motor current flowing through the armature winding of the motor, the ´-axis magnetic flux which is, of the magnetic flux produced by the permanent magnet, the component parallel to the ´-axis, and a controller that reduces the axis deviation angle by controlling the motor so that the ´-axis magnetic flux converges at zero. |
