<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing contacts capable of improving contactability between electrochemically active discs and interconnectors in flat high-temperature fuel cells; and a fuel cell having such contact. <P>SOLUTION: The interconnectors have air-side and gas-side surface profiles with contact surfaces located on raised portions. In this method, a layer consisting of a contact mixture containing conductive particles and a medium with the particles embedded therein is respectively stuck to the electrodes of the electrochemically active discs. The outline surfaces of the electrodes are brought into contact with the layer so that, at a working temperature, the raised portions penetrate into the layer; connection parts are formed between the contact surfaces and the conductive particles; and thus discrete, homogeneously structured connection parts are formed between the contact surfaces and the electrodes. The medium is a hot melting constituent which is in a solid state at room temperature, and in particular at a temperature below 40°C, and in a liquid state at the working temperature. Finally the medium embedding the particles is thermally removed, and the discrete connection parts are solidified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
