<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking device which is prevented from being enlarged and can perform marking on glass in a shorter time; and to provide a marking method. <P>SOLUTION: A laser light emitting part 3 irradiates a metal plate 2 with a YAG laser beam or a YVO<SB>4</SB>laser beam through glass 4. On the surface 4a of the glass brought into contact with the metal plate 2, the laser beam emitted from the laser light emitting part 3 collides with laser beam reflected by the metal plate 2, and the glass at the collision part is ground to form a mark. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
