MMSE EQUALIZATION CIRCUIT, RECEPTION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, METHOD AND PROGRAM THEREOF

[PROBLEMS] To reduce a calculation amount, increase the communication capacity which can be processed, reduce a device size and a power consumption. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An MMSE equalization circuit is mounted on a MIMO-OFDM communication system and equalizes a demodulation signal vector containing as a component, a baseband signal demodulated by a demodulation unit arranged for each of transmission antennas so as to generate an estimated transmission signal. The MMSE equalization circuit includes: unitary matrix generation means which forms a dispersion response matrix by a channel response matrix expressing the MIMO channel characteristic and a matrix obtained by multiplying a unit matrix by a pre-calculated noise standard deviation and which QR-decomposes the dispersion response matrix, thereby generating a unitary matrix; and a transmission vector estimation unit which generates two partial matrixes from the generated unitary matrix and successively multiplies the demodulation signal vector by the two partial matrixes and a reciprocal of the noise standard deviation, thereby calculating the estimated transmission signal vector.
