PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment provided with a power switch preventing operational errors without impairing operability while effectively using an inner space. SOLUTION: Projections 103 and 104 are provided in a vicinity of a side opening portion at a backside of the respective lower and upper cases 101 and 102. The power switch 151 is secured such that a side upper end of a switch case 152 is in the same height as side surfaces of the cases. A protrusion height of a knob 151 towards the back surfaces substantially corresponds to the height ofthe projections 103 and 104 towards the back surfaces. A trapezoidal upper bottom viewed from above or below of the projections 103 and 104 is slightly recessed, the recessed bottom being formed makes along an upper end of the knob.
