PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic sprayer (10) for spraying a liquid from the tip of a nozzle part (20) by forming electric field in the tip part of the nozzle part (20), wherein the liquid to be sprayed is prevented from being consumed wastefully. SOLUTION: The electrostatic sprayer (10) for spraying the liquid from the tip of the nozzle part (20) by forming electric field in the tip part of the nozzle part (20) is provided with a human detecting means (26) for detecting the presence or not of human body in a spray target area where the liquid sprayed from the nozzle (20) reaches and a control means (27) for controlling the spray quantity of the liquid from the nozzle (20) so that the spray quantity when the human detecting means (26) detects the absence of the human body is reduced compared to that when the human detecting means (26) detects the presence of the human body.
