FIELD: physics, communication. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns device of contact burn detection in switch contacts of electric commutation device. Contact burn is detected on at least one opening and closing switch contact couple in commutation device. Device includes light guide and detector, where light emitted by at least one light source is fed to light guide and directed over light guide to detector. Light guide is positioned against at least one couple of switch contacts in such pattern that intensity of light fed to light guide and measured by detector decreases at the growth of contact burn particles number, appearing due to contact burn in electric commutation device. ^ EFFECT: extended equipment inventory for contact-free control of contact burn by optic electronic devices without removal of commutation equipment from its operation place. ^ 11 cl, 6 dwg |
