<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent corrosion of metal separators arranged in a fuel cell, in operating a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system 1 is provided with: the fuel cell 2 having the metal separators catching, from both sides, a membrane-electrode assembly composed by arranging electrodes on both sides of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane; a reaction gas supply passage 31 for supplying a reaction gas to the fuel cell 2; and a gas-liquid separator 35 recovering moisture discharged from the fuel cell 2. The fuel cell system is also provided with: a moisture supply passage 36 for introducing the moisture recovered by the gas-liquid separator 35 into the reaction gas supply passage 31; and an ion exchanger 38 arranged in the moisture supply passage 36 to remove impurity ions in the moisture recovered by the gas-liquid separator 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
