The method involves loading a cooling duct (4) with an internal pressure during a pressure loading phase, where the internal pressure is highly selected in such a manner that it leads to a partial plastic deformation of a wall area limiting the cooling duct. The wall area is heated to a conditioning temperature lying above the room temperature independently before and/or independently after and/or during the pressure loading phase. The internal pressure is generated by an external pressure generating device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a turbine- or compressor component such as a blade (2) a fluid-flow engine.
