A shock absorbing apparatus for road is provided to absorb impact effectively by scattering impact and to minimize damage of vehicles and drivers. A shock absorbing apparatus for road comprises a pair of guide rail(11) laid under underground so that the guide groove(13) formed in inside be exposed on the surface(11), a plurality of moving frames having a roller(23) mounted on the guide groove, Coil springs(25) which are newly built according to the displacement of the moving frame to the horizontal direction while being installed between moving frames and absorb impact, buffer unit(20) having the guide bar(27) guiding expansion and contraction of the horizontal direction of the coil springs, a support frame(80) which installed supports the buffer oil knit of the guide rail.
