<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image or the like approximated closely to a signal of a real world, by conducting signal processing in which constancy of the signal in the real world is taken into account. <P>SOLUTION: A model generation part 17011 generates a relation model wherein a relation between a pixel value of each pixel within an image data and a light signal in the real world is modeled, assuming that the pixel value of the each pixel corresponding to an x-directional position out of spatial directions of the image data is a pixel value acquired by integrating x-directionally and time-directionally an approximation model, using the approximation model wherein a light signal in the real world is approximated by a spline function. An equation generating part 17012 substitutes the pixel value of the each pixel within the image data in the relation model to generate an equation, and generates an equation for imparting a restriction condition that a variation of the pixel value within the image data expressed by the spline function is small. A real world waveform estimating part 17013 computes the equation to estimate the light signal in the real world.
