SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HOME-NETWORK USNIG THE TOTAL SENSOR MODULE

A home network system using an integrated sensor module and a method thereof are provided to automatically operate electric home appliances by sensing the environment inside a home through sensors, thereby realizing the optimum residential environment. A home network system comprises the followings: an integrated sensor module(100) including illuminance, temperature, humidity and moving body detection sensors to sense each space environment and then receive the measured values; a home network server(200) which provides a web page to previously set up the operation of a corresponding appliance through a terminal(220) of a occupant, and transmits data for commanding the operation of corresponding appliances after receiving a corresponding measurement value for operating the corresponding appliance according to the setting; and a gateway(201) which is installed in a home to transmit and receive data between the integrated sensor module and the home network server, and receives the operation command from the home network server to transmit the command to the corresponding appliances(10~50).
