The device has a purging conduit (18) for conveying fuel of a test stand towards a purging tank (24). Self-sealing male receptacles (22, 26) connect the purging conduit to the tank, and an evacuation conduit (32) evacuates vapor of the fuel purged from the tank towards exterior of the test stand. Third self-sealing male receptacle (34) connects the evacuation conduit to the tank, where the tank has a transparent conduit (30) visualizing the level of the purged fuel.
