PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer foil which has excellent cutting properties and high-speed processability and allows an easy general printing treatment to the surface of the transfer foil after transfer. SOLUTION: The transfer foil includes a release agent layer, a metal vapor-deposited layer and a topcoat layer, laminated in this order on the surface of a plastic film serving as a support. The release layer is formed with a mixed resin for release which allows printing with a UV-curable ink or an oil-based ink to the surface of the release agent layer exposed after release on the laminated surface between the support and the release agent layer. The metal vapor-deposited layer is made of a material having metallic luster. The topcoat layer is formed with a mixed resin for the topcoat which causes joining of its surface with the UV-curable resin when irradiated with UV rays in such a state as for the surface of the topcoat layer to be in contact with the UV-curable resin.
