PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a ply cord that improves a locking force in-between the bead core, a manufacturing method for a pneumatic tire using the ply cord processed by the processing method, and a pneumatic tire manufactured by the manufacturing method and excellent in durability of the bead part. SOLUTION: The processing method is for a ply cord used in a carcass ply of a pneumatic tire. The method includes a step for coating a cord with rubber, a step for cutting the rubber-coated cord into a prescribed length, a step for respectively deforming both end parts of the cut rubber-coated cord into a coil shape by respectively winding both end parts of the cut rubber-coated cord, and a step for vulcanizing the rubber-coated cord while maintaining each shape of both end parts deformed into the coil shape. There are provided the processing method for a ply cord, the manufacturing method for a pneumatic tire using the ply cord processed by the processing method, and a pneumatic tire manufactured by the manufacturing method.
