PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial soil grains capable of holding moisture necessary in growing plants as efficiently usable water with a wide adsorption state.SOLUTION: Artificial soil grains 50 comprise fiber lump bodies 10 which are formed by mixing a plurality of kinds of fiber, in which a plurality of kinds of fiber contains at least first fiber 1 having a water holding property, and second fiber 2 having a hydrophilic property, an official moisture regain of the first fiber 1 is 8.5 or more, an official moisture regain of the second fiber 2 is 4.0 to 7.0, the first fiber 1 is cellulose fiber, and the second fiber 2 is vinylon fiber. |
