PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer grid 26 for a nuclear fuel bundle. SOLUTION: The grid 26 includes cruciform intersecting lattice dividers 30 forming the arrangement of cells 34. Each of the cells 34 is so constituted that it can hold each of fuel rods 18, which forms their arrangement alienated at regular intervals. The grid 26 also includes outer circumferential bands 38 which surround the circumference of the dividers 30 and are joined to both ends of each of the dividers 30. The outer circumferential bands 38 include spring tabs 46 formed along a rim 50 of the outer circumferential bands 38 and extending from their rim 50. The spring tabs 46 extend from the rim 50 with a certain angle formed on the side alienated from the dividers 30 so that a distal end 54 of each of the spring tabs 46 can come into contact with the inside surface of each of walls 58 of channels 22 into which the arranged fuel rods 18 can be inserted in order to form a fuel bundle 14.
