PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal processing apparatus that enables a microphone to be suitably used for a vocal and for a speech. SOLUTION: The audio signal processing apparatus 1 is an apparatus which mixes and outputs an audio signal and a microphone signal, and has a microphone signal adjuster 13 which adjusts one of the sound volume and sound quality of the microphone signal, and an audio signal detector 11 which detects whether the audio signal is present. The microphone signal adjuster 13 has: a vocal adjustment unit 61 where vocal adjustment characteristics suitable for use of the microphone 23 for a vocal are set; and a speech adjustment unit 63 where speech adjustment characteristics suitable for use of the microphone 23 for a speech are set, and is switched to the vocal adjustment unit 61 or speech adjustment unit 63 according to whether the audio signal is present.
