A controlling method, system and device for accessing a private node B are disclosed in the embodiments according to the present invention, in which the method is that: the network side apparatus determines the distance between a user equipment and the private node B after receiving a location update request sent by the user equipment; according to the determination result, adjusting the public land mobility network PLMN searching period of the user equipment and notifying it to the user equipment, so that the user equipment performs the PLMN searching according to the adjusted searching period. The method, system and device can flexibly adjust the searching period that the UE performs PLMN searching according to the current location of the UE, thereby ensuring that the UE can find and access a private node B in time when it is near to the private node B, and perform PLMN searching as little as possible when it is far from a private node B, so as to save the power consumption of the UE. The embodiments according to the present invention also provide the corresponding controlling means aiming at the question of the mobility limitation aspect.
