A foamed object comprising two interpenetrating systems of slits, where each slit of each system intersects at least one slit of the other system, as in CH 507799, is improved by having a honeycomb network of foam lamellae, joined together, constituted by the first set of slits; the second set intersect these in directions parallel to the honeycomb ducts.
