<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric providing high contrast regardless of the angle of visibility by controlling optical anisotropy of fibers, and having high transparency, excellent heat resistance and small coefficient of linear expansion, and to provide a composite material. <P>SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric includes modified fibers (c) obtained by introducing a compound (b) having at least one kind of a ring structure in an aromatic compound having a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, a biphenyl group or the like, and an alicyclic compound, and controlling the optical anisotropy to fibers (a) having a hydroxy group such as cellulose fibers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
