<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolutionary portable positioning system (method) capable of raising a value as a machine other than a game machine by sufficiently showing and utilizing the function of a portable game machine. <P>SOLUTION: The portable positioning system includes: the portable game machine 5 having liquid crystal display parts 1, 2 and a radio communication part 3; and a plurality of information terminal units 11 having a radio intercommunication part 13 communicable with the radio communication part 3. Each information terminal unit 11 incorporates a satellite receiver 14 for positioning.
