PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device which is capable of suppressing contamination of a polarity control member and prolonging service life of the polarity control member and to provide an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: The suction port of a suction duct 51 is arranged in the vicinity of a conductive blade 26 being the polarity control member. The suction device such as a suction pump, a suction fan and a blower motor is driven to suck toner attracted to the conductive blade 26 together with air from the suction port of the suction duct 51. Thus, the surface of the conductive blade 26 can be maintained in a clean state and stable cleaning property is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
