PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having high efficiency and high contrast. SOLUTION: The display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels formed on the substrate, and a circular polarization member provided on the plurality of pixels, in which each pixel is composed of a plurality of sub-pixels having different luminescent colors and constitutes an organic light emitting element including a pair of electrodes consisting of an anode and a cathode, and a light emitting layer and a charge injection layer formed between the pair of electrodes, and the circular polarization member has a larger transmittance to at least one luminescent color selected from the plural luminescent colors than that to the other luminescent colors.
