An air conditioner in which resistance of air flow relative to a heat exchanger is low and condensate water is reliably collected and which is reduced in size. An indoor heat exchanger (10) has a first heat exchanger (10a) and a second exchanger (10b) that is connected to the first heat exchanger (10a) with a bent section in between and is installed in a place having a portion overlapped with the first heat exchanger (10a) in a plan view of an installation state. Refrigerant flows in the indoor heat exchanger (10). A drain pan (15) is placed vertically below the indoor heat exchanger (10) without interrupting flow of air relative to the indoor heat exchanger (10) and is installed so that the outer edge of the drain pan (15) is visible at least on the outer side of the indoor heat exchanger (10) in a plan view of an installation state.
