PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner provided with a fragrance generator, in improved structure for selectively discharging fragrance out of the vacuum cleaner according to whether or not air is discharged from the vacuum cleaner so as to elongate the life of fragrance, so that a fragrance replacement cycle is extended. SOLUTION: For the fragrance having fragrance components to diffuse fragrance, air passing a discharge hole and a first air passage hole pushes an outer cover to open a second air passage hole so as to discharge air together with the fragrance components through the second air passage hole to the outside, when the vacuum cleaner is operated to discharge air through the discharge hole. When the vacuum cleaner is not operated, air is not discharged through the discharge hole, and the second air passage hole is kept closed by weight of an outer cover member.
